Portrait of the fictional Character Booker Dewitt, the protagonist of Bioshock Infinite. I haven’t played the game yet and the only two decent references I could find was the box art and a concept image. Wanted to draw Booker at a different angle and different lighting, since it has little benefit for me to just copy someone’s painting. It was a more difficult painting aft first until I found the official concept art . Booker looks very anime-ish in the concept art, I attempted to render him more realistically in my painting.
This weeks portrait theme will be fictional characters in video games.

I really dig your cartoons and paintings! You have quite the talent. Portraits were never my strong suite, but you dress the face with commanding grace. Bravo! 🙂
Thank you so much 😀
Wow! Nice!:D Good to see someone draw something else than Elizabeth from the same game! I also like that you wen for realism. Keep doing good stuff!:)
Thank you very much 🙂 It was very fun and a good exercise to paint Booker in a more realistic way. Very true about Elizabeth. fans love the to draw her. She even had a cosplayer fan before the game came out! (who later got hired as a official model for the game). I might try to paint Elizabeth in the future, but I have to figure out something more interesting then just her standing with a frown.
You should play it! It’s a good game, especially visually. It’s a little bit overrated in my opinion. (I’m gonna write about that soon) You should find a pose Elizabeth hasn’t been drawn in yet. Might be hard, but could be really nice! Keep making good stuff!
