I have been in a national forest for most of the day. Had the urge to draw a forest scene. The wizard casting a lighting spell was a spur of the moment thing.
Self critique: needed to finish the bark of the tree. and have more branches point toward the wizard. While I am proud of the leaf texture brushes I made, the realism of the textures conflict with of the unfinished bark. I totally forgot to add bounce lighting to the leaves. I love the glow effect of the light I made with minimal effort.

Enchanting!

Welcome! Always fun to see your drawings.
Beautiful lighting of the trees – soft and deliberate!
Thank you very much ๐
You are most welcome! I look forward to seeing more!
Really nice. I love the atmosphere and how you can get a sense of the density of the forest.
Thanks fojap ๐ it’s amazing how useful making texture brushes is.

thank you very much ๐
Fantastic!
Thank you ๐
Wow! I really like the scale of the forest next to the wizard-nice work!
Thank you ๐
I really like the colors and effect.
Thank you dwezzer19 ๐
I love it.
I live close to Olympic Nat’l Forest (Twilight
Series)… its so green, forest floor is duffy. Your red and green is magic, if not alternatively Christmassy mysticism. The season is about romance lights and forests… did you have the holidays in mind. I really do love the middle and the power to create power. <|=ยฐ])
