Got a bitt farther on this piece. Spent most of my time painting the focal point, which is the heads of the allosaurus and horse. It’s a interesting contrast in detailing these two creature. The horse needs to have smooth gradations while the allosaurus needs small, contrasting brush strokes. I find the best way to give the horse smooth gradations is the soft round brush. I set up a new layer, paint with a large soft round like a airbrush, and then erase the excess paint. I was hoping to get farther then I did. I will finish this piece on Sunday. 1 hour 10 minutes (2 something hours total) Painted from scratch using Photoshop and a wacom tablet.
