Some art stuff I haven’t uploaded yet
Month: December 2016
Creepy monster in forest(Env4.5)
Apparently I forgot to upload this creepy environment painting. I did this one out of my imagination. It needs some refining.
Nuevo Bridge (Env 7)
Although I do these studies on a regular almost daily basis, I haven’t gotten into the habit of uploading them to the blog after finishing them. I feel like I’m starting to loosen up. As with many of my studies, I used Wikimedia Commons for references (CC-AB).
Island in Lake (Env 6)
A rockly like island on the side of a lake. This was another practice that I used only one brush for the painting. It’s rather difficult.
When painting this I used Wikimedia Commons for reference
Zion (Env 5)
Today’s environment painting is inspired by the Zion National Park. I experimented with various brushes with this painting. I feel like I’m loosing up and these studies are less intimidating. Reference photo for painting came from Wikimedia Commons.
Dragon Monks + Env 4
Forest (Env 3)
The first environment where I feel that have gotten back into gear. For this study I decided to use only a smooth charcoal brush and not use any foliage or texture brushes.

Foggy Bridge (Env 2)
I’m determined to do a enviroment study every day even if I don’t post every day. Today it is of a foggy bridge.

Dragon sneaking into a lab
Commissioned piece I did for Blue Hasia on Deviant Art. The idea is that the dragon Tealate can walk through walls and become invisible.
I spent a lot of time on this painting. It was a lot of fun.
