Darrel (on left), is very insecure about himself. His father Arron (right) isn’t helping matters much.

Fox Rogue (Character 05)
Been behind uploading my characters. I’ve haven’t drawn a fox in a long time
Roger Baska (Character 4)
The disgruntled brother of Sabin Braska, his cynical attitude makes him a pleasure to be around..if you’re masochist.
Character 1 – Sabin Baska
I’ve decided to do dailies again. My minimum goal is a month but I will be happy if I make it beyond that. My longest daily spree was three months two years ago. As for the characters some will be original characters in my head, others will be inspired by video game and book characters. I might interrupt it to do a couple landscape drawings/ paintings now and then.
Goals
1. Clean line work – It should be ready to color or paint if I decide to in the future. The line work must be clean enough to chop up if I want to use it in a cutout animation.
2. Interesting poses – While quite a few characters will be just standing, it would be good to experiment and do more action poses as long as it doesn’t distract from the design or make it difficult to understand.
3. The character’s design must tell some sort of story, even if it is generic.
4. A background if it will improve the concept or if I have time..
Penguin Pete ( 3d Model)
Dear wearing a hat and fur.
I’ve been working on this painting off and on for five months. It’s finished
It is inspired by an old Rembrandt portrait painting: https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipe….._a_Fur_Cap.JPG
It was a painting I did for the ‘Magic Box’ a self guided digital painting workshop. I lost how much time I spent on this painting, I think around 20+ hours. It was very challenging but I learned so much from doing this project.
Dragon/Dino walks and then trips
My first animation for the Advanced Animation class. The teacher allowed me to choose my own projects.
I picked character rigging by parenting and using the puppet wrap tool. The walk cycle is a little rough but I feel that the rig itself was successful.
The Process of Creating a 3D Model (Final Animation Project)
It’s done. It’s finished. My final animation project in class.
A very short film on the process of creating a 3D creature. This is not a tutorial. While I wanted to get into more complex topics such as UV mapping and Weight Painting, I was limited to 2 minutes so I could only fit in the basic process. This was my first animated 3d creature I had designed in Cinema4D. It was a fun project. I learned allot from doing this.
The skills I learned in AE and C4D made the class worth it.
Character 2.5 -Movember Barbarian (Wip 2)
Since I wont have access to my drawing tablet until tomorrow. I decided to refine the doodle I did yesterday. When it comes to drawing with lines, nothing beats a pen and paper. No tablet can get the definition a quality ballpoint pen or marker can get. The only downside is if you make a mistake, it is nearly impossible to conceal. For example, I messed up on the upper left strap, its was a little out of perspective, but I cant fix it. I attempted to ‘hide’ it by using the shadow created by the neck but It didn’t work in it’s entirety. that the only real advantage to drawing on the computer is the ease to correct mistakes. I might paint over this in Photoshop or I might move on to the next character. Haven’t decided yet.
Character 2.5 – Movember Barbarian (wip)
Forgive the cruddy quality. I took a picture with my android tablet. I am out of town but wanted to continue drawing the characters on weekdays. Being the genius that I am, I brought the wacom tablet with me but forgot the freaking pen. So I sketched this on paper. I spent around 15 mins on this, granted he needs more work done. I deviated a bit from the ref image this time. I was in a November mood so I gave him facial hair.
